General Settings

The General tab on the Edit Local page contains your organization’s basic information, contact details, email settings, and social media links. To get here, go to Local → Edit local and click the General tab.

About

The About section controls how your organization appears in the “My Union” section of the mobile app.

  • Description — A short description of your organization. This appears under “My Union” in the app.
  • Founded — The date your organization was founded (MM/DD/YYYY format).
  • Logo — Your organization’s logo. If no logo is set, the national affiliate’s logo will be used.
    • To upload a new logo, click Choose File and select an image. A preview will appear.
    • To change an existing logo, click Change logo, then select a new image file.
    • To remove the logo, click Remove logo. The logo will be removed when you save.

Contact

Contact information is displayed in the app under Contact My Union and My Union → About.

  • Address — Your organization’s mailing address.
  • City — The city where your organization is located.
  • State — The state where your organization is located.
  • Phone — A phone number members can use to reach you.
  • Toll free phone — A toll-free number, if applicable.
  • Website URL — Your organization’s website address.

Email

Email settings control where notifications and form submissions are sent.

  • Email — The primary contact email for your organization. Only one address is allowed. This email is displayed in the app and receives contact form messages, contract violation reports, device registration alerts, and custom form submissions.
  • Signup notification recipients — Additional email addresses that receive a notification when a new member registers. Separate multiple addresses with commas.
  • Violation report recipients — Additional email addresses that receive contract violation reports submitted through the app. Separate multiple addresses with commas.
  • Contact form recipients — Additional email addresses that receive messages submitted through the “Contact My Union” form. Separate multiple addresses with commas.

Social Media

Link your social media accounts so members can find and follow you from within the app. For each platform, enter the full URL to your page or profile.

  • Facebook — Full URL to your Facebook page (e.g., https://www.facebook.com/YourPage).
  • Instagram — Full URL to your Instagram profile (e.g., https://www.instagram.com/YourProfile).
  • YouTube — Full URL to your YouTube channel (e.g., https://www.youtube.com/YourChannel).
  • TikTok — Full URL to your TikTok profile (e.g., https://www.tiktok.com/@YourProfile).

Click Update at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
